Course Description:

This instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to plan, install and administer the Microsoft Softgrid Application Virtualization Platform.

After completing this course, students will be able to:

• Understand New Featurse and Benefits of SoftGrid 4.1.
• Describe the elements of VAS and technology benefits of deploying a VAS enviroment
• Complete a full instillation of the SCVAS and Back-end Management components.
• Install and configure the Microsoft SoftGrid Application Virtualization Client.
• Create new objects from within the Microsoft SoftGrid Aopplication Virtualization Management console.
• Use a variety of advanced administration tools in the Microsoft SoftGrid Application Virtualization Platform.
• Install and configure the Microsoft SoftGrid Application Virtualization Sequencer.
• Install a hard coded application into a virtual environment and create a virtual environment for a Web-based application.
• Troubleshoot and fix common issues within the Microsoft SoftGrid Application Virtualization Platform.

• Modify OSD Files Manually.
