Prerequisites:

# A basic knowledge of Citrix XenApp
# A basic knowledge of Citrix Provisioning Server
# A basic knowledge of Citrix XenServer
# An understanding of computing architecture, including network and storage devices, device drivers and operating systems
# Basic experience installing and administering Windows Server 2003

Course Description:

Designed for experienced XenApp users, this course provides the foundation necessary to effectively deploy and administer Citrix XenApp 5.0 and its components, including Web Interface, application streaming and Secure Gateway.

Learners will receive hands-on training for installing XenApp and Plug-ins and for using the various administrative consoles to configure policies, individual server and server farm settings, isolation environments, streaming applications and much more.

On completion delegates will be able to:

• Install the Desktop Delivery Controller
• Prepare a virtual desktop for delivery to an endpoint device
• Install and configure the XenDesktop Setup Wizard
• Create and manage desktop groups using the Access Management Console
