- Blue Coat Proxy Fundamentals and Blue Coat Proxy Administrator Upgrade courses

Course Description:

This is a three-day Instructor-led course for advanced ProxySG users. The course provides networking professionals with knowledge of how to configure Blue Coat ProxySG appliances for high availability and multi-site deployments, advanced policy features, web content control, P2P control, IM control, streaming media control, application acceleration and reverse proxy deployments, and effective user monitoring using splash pages, coaching pages and compliance pages.

This course is intended for Networking Professionals administering Blue Coat appliances, Security Auditors and Architects, System Engineers and Post Sale Support Technicians.

Delegates attending this course will be able to:

  • The architecture of the ProxySG
  • How to use Content Policy Language and trace policy execution
  • Authentication realms and how to configure them on the ProxySG
  • How to use the ProxySG for forwarding and failover
  • Streaming media and bandwidth management
