The assessment for this Unit could take a variety of forms eg, two separate assignments consisting of a set of structured questions and a further set of questions based on a case study.
Credit points and level: 1 HN credits at SCQF level 7: (8 SCQF credit points at SCQF level 7)

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
In order to complete this Unit successfully, you will be required to achieve a satisfactory level of performance in all both pieces of assessed work. Both assessments take place under controlled conditions and designed to encourage candidates to relate marketing theory to relevant examples.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
It would be beneficial if the candidate had competence in communications, which could be demonstrated by the possession of Communication Core Skill at SCQF level 5
