Course Aim
The aim of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved First Aid at Work course is to enable any individuals to carry out the correct first aid treatment to someone suddenly injured or taken ill in an emergency situation prior to arrival of further qualified assistance. Following the course the learners will be able to manage a first aid situation of a casualty who is suddenly injured or taken ill prior to the arrival of the emergency services. This course is designed to meet the employer's legal requirements of the HSE (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Each course delivered on site is tailored to your workplace where possible.

General Information
12 learners per instructor.
The complete training package including professional training,
comprehensive first aid at work training manual, training aids used
throughout the course and a certificate of successful
completion.

Assessment
The course is subject to ongoing assessment by the instructor throughout the course. There is no final assessment. The instructor observes the learners practice sessions as the training progresses to ensure the required level of understanding and skill is reached.
Certification
All learners who successfully complete the course will be awarded a certificate approved for Emergency First Aid at Work which is valid for 1 year from the date of the course.
On Site Requirements
For the course to be run on site the following
requirements need to be met:
A room that will comfortably accommodate all of your learners, to
be seated and allow for practical demonstrations and practice on
the floor.
Course Duration: Half Day (3 Hours). Training must be completed within 1 year.
