Our BA (Hons) Hospitality and Service Management is designed to meet this growing human resource demand for the thriving tourism industry, by producing students such as yourself who are capable of managing the design, delivery, management and development of food, beverage and accommodation services - or other forms of related provision such as customer service and retail - within an increasingly competitive and challenging global business environment. This course provides opportunities for you to develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of the practices and principles, and industry knowledge and skills, appropriate to a future in the hospitality and service industry. At the same time, if you are a student entering University direct from an FE College, it provides you with a path to pursue studies up to BA Honours level. This course will equip you with the general practices and principles and industry knowledge and skills, appropriate to a future in the field of hospitality and service management. What's involved Based over two years (full-time) the course will involve lectures, tutorials and independent study. Below is an indication of the modules you could study: Year 3 Customer Service and Care; Hospitality Business Development; Organisational Change Management; Management of MICE Events; Facilities Planning; Service Management Year 4 Leadership and Innovation for Hospitality, Tourism & Events; Business Tourism; International Wine and Spirit Management; International Hospitality; Dissertation

Requirements at a glance Entry to the course Admission will only be offered to direct entry students articulating into Year 3 with a minimum of 240 credits, or students who have successfully completed Year 2 of Hospitality Management and therefore likewise hold 240 credits. Students holding a minimum of 360 credits shall be eligible for consideration for direct entry to Year 4.Fees Table No fees have been set up for this course Fees displayed are correct at the time of publication but the University Court reserves the right to make changes in fees at any time, and without notice, before or after the student's admission to the University. Tuition fees are reviewed annually and will rise each year during your programme of study, at least in line with inflation.
