Course DescriptionAs featured on Channel 4's 'My Dream Farm'. This practical
course covers all aspects of lambing management including, care of
the ewe before and after lambing, care of the newborn lamb,
difficult and assisted births, lamb survival techniques and
fostering.
My Dream Farm (January 28th 2010) followed Monty Don as he helped a
family try to realise their dream of making a go of it by working
the land. They're determined to leave the rat race behind and
transform their lives, but with few skills and no previous
experience, it is far from easy, hence the family came to Bicton
during the summer to find out more...

No formal qualifications are required but some knowledge and experience of handling sheep would be advantageous.
