The Access to Higher Education course is designed to meet the needs of those who have sustained a significant gap in their education and would like to go on to university. This qualification is equivalent in standard to other Level 3 qualifications, such as A Levels. How Will I Be Assessed?
There is a mixture of coursework, an independent research project and a final examination.Entry Requirements
You don't require any particular previous qualifications to start - and it does not matter how long it is since you last studied. You just need to demonstrate the ability to study at Level 3.Additional Information
Students must be 19 and above at the start of September to study this course. Duration: 1 year.Progression
After successful completion of the Access to Higher Education Diploma allows you entry for an Honours Degree at a majority of Higher Education institutions in the UK, including University Centre Aylesbury Vale (UCAV).Career Opportunities
