This highly inspirational workshop explores your preferences for communication; when things are going well and when the going gets tough. We will help you to identify how people react under pressure and how you can communicate effectively with them to create positive outcomes.
Self-awareness is one of the most important qualities we can have and we use a tool called SDI (Strength Deployment Inventory) to help you understand your own motivations and those of others. Once you understand why you and your colleagues react in a certain way you are then equipped to get the best out of your communication.

Who will the course benefit?

This course is for all levels and is ideal for anyone who wishes to enhance their communications skills.

By the end of the course you will be able to:

  • define why some people are so easy (or challenging) to get along with
  • recognise and deal with conflict styles that are different to your own
  • have an insight into how you and others prefer to communicate
  • learn what motivates you and others
  • recognise how you may be seen by others see others' intent not just their behaviour
  • complete your learning log for action planning.
