Who is the course for?
To develop students’ basic knowledge and understanding of
Microsoft Excel for use at home or in the work place.
Who is the course for and what level is it?
This course is designed as an intensive course and it is therefore
essential that students already have a basic working knowledge of
the Windows environment and mouse skills.
What is your approach?
You will be taught through a combination of discussion,
demonstration and hands on practice.
What can I do next?
Progression opportunities include a further workshop in excel or
other Microsoft Office packages and/or enrolling on the ECDL.

All Aspire Sussex dedicated Adult Education centres have Windows 7
and Microsoft Office 2010 installed on the computers.
If it is important for you to be using a particular version of
software you must check with the centre at the time of booking your
course, that the version you wish to learn is used on the course
you are joining.

You will have an opportunity to maintain an Individual Learning
Plan and your tutor will discuss your progress and achievement with
you throughout the course.
What will I need for the first session?
Students do not need to bring anything specific as handouts are
provided but it is advisable to have a notebook and pencil.
